ABOUT US

Advised Construction Brokers Ltd operates as an independent building industry brokerage based in Manawatū, New Zealand.
We provide guidance, referrals, tender management, and project support between clients and builders, designers, and subcontractors.
We are not a builder or construction company and do not enter into building contracts on behalf of clients or trades.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using this website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

OUR SERVICES

We provide the following services:

Advising clients on builder, architect, and subcontractor selection
Running tender or quotation processes
Assisting with consent processes, quality inspections, or negotiations
Providing escrow and payment protection services (where applicable)
Offering optional project management on select projects

All services are provided in good faith based on information available at the time.
Advised does not guarantee the performance, quality, or financial stability of any third-party contractor or service provider introduced.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete project information
Engaging qualified builders or trades under direct contract
Complying with local laws, regulations, and council requirements
Reviewing all agreements and documentation before signing

THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS

Advised acts solely as an intermediary or facilitator.
Contracts for construction or trade work are made directly between the client and the chosen provider.
We are not a party to those contracts and accept no liability for any loss, delay, cost, or damage resulting from third-party actions or omissions.

ESCROW AND PAYMENT PROTECTION

Where escrow services are used, Advised will hold funds in trust until agreed milestones are achieved.
Release of funds will occur only upon written agreement between both parties or in accordance with predefined terms.
Advised may charge a service fee for escrow management.

FEES AND QUOTES

Unless otherwise stated, advisory services to consumers are provided at no direct cost.
Where professional or project management fees apply, these will be agreed in writing before commencement.
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and may be subject to GST.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

Advised shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not responsible for actions, delays, or workmanship of independent contractors or third parties introduced through our service.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All text, graphics, and content on this website are the property of Advised Construction Brokers Ltd unless otherwise credited.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute material without prior written consent.
